According to Rumen Ovcharov EC Interferes with out Internal Affairs of Bulgaria
The chairman of the Parliamentary Budget and Finance Committee Rumen Ovcharoc stated, that the decision of the European Commission to withhold 220 million euro of the funding for our country because of corruption was too coarse an interference with Bulgaria's internal affairs.
For bTV the socialist MP explained that the same could happen to the cohesion and structural funds.
Ovcharov added that with those nearly half a billion levs could be used for stimulating foreign investment and increasing the influx of capital. Commenting on EC's decision for creating a mutual fund for overcoming the economic crisis he said that it was not right for Bulgarian money to sponsor European industry.
He suggested putting back into operation unit 3 and 4 of Kozloduy nuclear power plant. According to Rumen Ovcharov the government's task is for the Bulgarians not to live worse next year than they did this one.
