There is at least one Information Office of the European Parliament in each member state.

These offices provide information to the media, the government, the regional business agencies, and through them to the public, about the role and activities of EP, and the EU in general.

EP offices organize briefings and seminars, participate to exhibitions, respond to requests and help for contacting the members of the EP from the relevant country; in addition, the offices provide lecturers, prepare and disseminate publications, and maintain the local webpage to the international EP webpage.

CONTACTING THE MEMBERS OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT

 The distribution of the EP members is based on political, rather than on national affiliation. Therefore, there are several political groups and independent MEPs.

One way to contact a MEP is namely through their parliamentary group or party, on the European level. Also, the party of national level, which elected the relevant deputy, can be contacted.

Most of the MEPs maintain their own local information offices, individually or on the party principle. Information about the MEPs’ work can be found there too.

All MEPs’ contacts are published on the webpage of the European Parliament, most often alongside their assistants’ contacts.
