Trust for Civil Society in Central & Eastern Europe (“CEE Trust”) is an independent public charity incorporated under the laws of the United States of America and governed by a Board of Trustees. The CEE Trust promotes the development of civil societies in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. The CEE Trust was conceived as a mechanism for facilitating the transition to independent, active and viable networks of organizations and citizens working for the public good. To achieve this goal, the CEE Trust meets the urgent need for funding to help nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) and other civil society stakeholders gain greater self-reliance and self-sufficiency.CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR BULGARIA, ROMANIA, AND SLOVAKIA MARCH 2006
