EC report on bulgaria to be published on July 23

The European Commission's Report in relation to the mechanisms for collaboration and control of internal affairs and justice system shall be published on July 23, the Bulgarian National Radio announced.

European Commission spokesperson Mark Gray confirmed that the EC would present its monitoring reports on Bulgaria and Romania on July 23. The statement was made at a regular briefing for the reporters accredited to the EC. The writing of the EC report on Bulgaria began last week.

The spokesperson declined any comments about the selection of the date to publish the report since recently EC sources have indicated July 8, 16 or 23 as possible publication dates. "This is the decision, the mention of other dates is speculation", Gray stated.
