City Council Members from BSP Demand Boyko Borisov’s Resignation

The representatives of Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) in Sofia City Council will demand the resignation of Mayor Boyko Borisov in connection with the scandal with the so called "briefing" of the deputy mayor on transport Velizar Stoilov who was removed yesterday.

GERB (Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria) municipal councilor Radoslav Toshev expressed his confidence, that Stoilov had not coordinated his actions with Mayor Borisov. The last two tenders for rendering bus lines should be annulled, Radoslav Toshev added.

Kadiev summarized that the case of the bus line tenders was a corruption scheme at the amount of about 250 million euro over an eight year period.
