The Parliament Voted Down the Presidential Veto on Electoral Legislation
The members of the Bulgarian National Parliament voted down the president's veto against the electoral legislation, Focus Agency reported.
One hundred ninety-three MP were present at the session. Of the total number 127 voted against the veto. Seventy-six of them were from Coalition for Bulgaria, 33 - from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, four from "Ataka", three were independent and 11 were the representatives of Order, Law and Justice.
Only three of the parliamentarians voted in favour of the veto. The representatives of NMSS Stability and Prosperity, Democrats for Strong Bulgaria, the United Democratic Forces and Bulgarian New Democracy did not participate in the vote.
