Project " Encouraging of the cross-border cooperation between SMEs for sustainable development of tourism on both sides of the border" BG2005/017-455.01.03.01.06

The project overall objective is to encourage the common activities for developing of alternative tourism on the two sides of the border. This will be achieved by taking actions for improving the capacity of the small and average companies from the region in developing of alternative tourism and a net for trans-border collaboration in the field of tourism will be created.
Specific project objectives are:
- to encourage the collaboration between the representatives of the target groups from the two sides of the border with the purpose of taking actions in common initiatives for the development of alternative tourism;to elaborate training know-how for the needs of the target group;to improve the capacity of the representatives of the target group in developing alternative tourism by their participation in training on theme “Development of the alternative tourism across both sides of the border and elaboration of joint tourist packages”to organize trans-border tourist exhibition for presentation of the tourist’s products as well as the sights and the potentialities for alternative tourism on the two sides of the border;to build a net for trans-border collaboration in the field of tourism and to develop an action plan for the elaboration of integrated tourist’s packages;to popularize the project and its results among all sides of interest by the dissemination of brochures, posters, catalogue of the sights from the two sides of the border, elaboration of web page;
Target group – 10 Romanian and 15 Bulgarian small and average companies, being active in the field of tourism, which will take part in the trans-border tourist’s exhibition and which will create partnership relationships.
Short description of the actions:
Action 1 – formation of team working under the project.Action 2 – coordination meeting between the members of the team working under the project and the representatives of the partnership organization. Action 3 – campaign for popularization of the project.Action 4 – elaboration of training know-how.Action 5 – organization of training “Development of the alternative tourism across both sides of the border and elaboration of joint tourist packages”Action 6 – organization of trans-border exhibition.Action 7 – elaboration, publication and dissemination of a catalogue.Action 8 – final conference.
